Policy Fellow for Mental Health

Hailey joined Texans Care for Children in January 2023 as a Policy Fellow for Mental Health. She is currently pursuing her Master's in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin.

Hailey has experience working in schools, community health, and the child welfare system as a Guardian ad Litem for youth in foster care. She has interned with Communities in Schools of Central Texas and worked as a Graduate Research Assistant for the Texas Institute of Child & Family Wellbeing. Hailey attended Washington State University, where she received BAs in Human Development and Spanish and will receive her MSW in May 2023.

In her free time, Hailey enjoys a good adventure, traveling, getting outdoors, playing pickleball, and spending quality time with family and friends!
