Thank you to everyone who joined us for our great briefing on Friday about early childhood strategies that Texas policymakers can pursue to support English Learners.
The research and recommendations we discussed will help English Learners become strong readers by third grade, benefit more from the pre-k funding and other provisions in HB 3 from the 2019 legislative session, overcome learning challenges created by the pandemic, and master both English and their home language.
