Due to the coronavirus pandemic, most committees at the Texas Legislature have not held their typical hearings this year to collect public input on the “Interim Charges” that they are studying in preparation for next session.
But our team and other policy advocates have still been busy providing input to the committees on the issues they are studying. In addition to meeting virtually with committee members and staff, over the last two months we have submitted written testimony to a number of committees in response to their official “Requests for Information.”
