Deputy Director

As Deputy Director, Sondra Lehmann leads Texans Care for Children's operations, human resources, and development work. Before joining Texans Care for Children, Sondra worked at the American Cancer Society, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas, Annunciation Maternity Home, The Caring Place, Texas Network of Youth Services, and as an independent consultant. Sondra has experience in nonprofit fundraising, board development, operations and human resources, finance, volunteer recruitment and management, and communications and outreach. Sondra has a B.A. in Communications from Texas A&M University. In her free time, Sondra volunteers for Re:Cancer, a nonprofit providing cancer support services to the Central Texas community. She is also an avid Aggie fan and enjoys traveling with her husband to every sporting event she can.
