As Chief Operating Officer, Sondra Lehmann leads Texans Care for Children’s operations, human resources, strategic planning, and finance efforts. Before joining the team in 2008, Sondra worked at the American Cancer Society, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas, Annunciation Maternity Home, The Caring Place, and as an independent consultant. Sondra has experience in nonprofit fundraising, board development, operations and human resources, finance, volunteer recruitment and management, and communications and outreach. Sondra has a B.A. in Communications and a Minor in Business Administration from Texas A&M University. In her free time, you’ll find Sondra curled up with a good book, volunteering at the public library, or harvesting vegetables in her garden.
