Now that the Texas House and Senate have each passed their state budget bills, a conference committee is meeting to work out the differences between the bills.
We wrote to conference committee to highlight a number of priorities they should support in the negotiations, including the full $100 million child care investment in HB 500 (the supplemental budget bill), the proposed funding increase for YES Waiver mental health services in Article XI of SB 1, and other recommendations.
