Development Associate

Amelia joined Texans Care for Children as the Development Associate in February 2024. She plays a critical role in helping us reach our fundraising goals and ensuring we have effective email strategies in place for fundraising, policy advocacy, and other organizational goals.

Prior to joining Texans Care for Children, Amelia worked at Any Baby Can, Manor ISD, and Food From The Heart of J, LLC. She brings to Texans Care for Children over eight years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor stewardship, grant writing, accounting, and data analytics. In addition, Amelia has five years of entrepreneurship experience, focusing on issues related to homelessness, food insecurity, and community outreach.

Amelia earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Huston Tillotson University. She is also the proud mother of two sons. In her spare time she loves taking family trips, cooking, learning new crafts, and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys.
