Texas Early Childhood Intervention for infants and toddlers with disabilities is highly effective when children are able to receive the services. However, ECI programs have been chronically underfunded — leading to program closures and under enrollment. Today, the community organizations that provide ECI services across Texas are being asked to serve more kids with less funding.

For the 2023 legislative session, the Texas ECI Advocacy Coalition is urging state lawmakers to take three steps to strengthen ECI and support Texas infants and toddlers with disabilities.
