About our speaker:
Walter S. Gilliam, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Child Psychiatry and Psychology at the Yale University Child Study Center, Director of The Edward Zigler Center in Child Development and Social Policy, and Chair of the Committee on the Board of ZERO TO THREE. Dr. Gilliam’s research involves early childhood education and intervention policy analysis, ways to improve the quality and mental healthiness of prekindergarten and child care services, early childhood expulsions and suspensions, and the impact of early childhood education programs on children’s school readiness on early childhood mental health.
