Texas Rising Star Workgroup Testimony
Many research findings have shown that low ratios of children to caregivers are associated with more extensive, higher quality teacher-child interaction, and more individual attention. Lower ratios also reduce teacher stress, enabling them to have better control over the classroom, and facilitate the learning that the State is trying to promote in the Texas Rising Star program.
