Lauren Rose
Juvenile Justice and Mental Health Policy Fellow

 | As Juvenile Justice and Mental Health Policy Fellow, Lauren is focused on the intersection of these two issues, including system-involvement related to school disciplinary practices, delinquency prevention, and services to youth within the juvenile justice system. Before joining Texans Care for Children, Lauren worked in political communication for campaigns at the local, state, and national levels. She has also worked two Texas Legislative sessions, one inside and one outside of the Capitol. Lauren holds bachelor's degrees in journalism and government from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master's of Public Affairs from UT's Lyndon Baines Johnson School of Public Affairs.
